Anna Lee (Anne) Welsh, age 72 of Summer Shade,died Thurday, September 27, 2011 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the owner and operator of Anne"s Restaurant in Summer Shade. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Lottie High Dubree and was a member of the Hagan"s Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky Dubree and Tammy Branham and one son, Greg Branham, all of Summer Shade; four granddaughters, April Brown, Terran Pedigo, Candice Branham all of Summer Shade and Hallie Branham of Edmonton: one sister, Betty Jane Wilkinson of Tompkinsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Dubree, three brothers, Paul,Billy and Rondal Dubree.
Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 30 at 2:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Dexter Bacon,Jr officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.
Visitation will begin, Thursday, Sept.29 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.

Michael Anthony Jester
Michael Anthony Jester, age 46 of Summer Shade, died Sunday, Sept. 25 at the Monroe Co. Medical Center. He was a son of the late Gradie Wayne Jester and Patricia Jones Jester (David Chapman) who survives and lives in the Temple Hill Community.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by four sisters, Robin Roberts of Arizone, Rita Stephens and Rhonda Chisddert both of Ft. Wayne, In. and Jeanette VanAuken of Lafayette, In: two brothers, Ricky Jester and John Whitlock both of In. his maternal grndmother, Lillian Lewis of Edmonton and uncles, Leroy Jennings of Edmonton and Dearil Jonesof Park City.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Jester, maternal grandfather, James Lewis, paternal grandparents, Elmer and Bessie Jester and maternal gr. grandparents, Bud and Sarah traylor.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 3:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 4:00 to 8:00 Pm at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Beaumont Cemetery.

James Robert Humes
James Robert Humes, age 83 of Tompkinsville, died Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Monroe Co. Medical Center. He was a son of the late Clayton and Effie Dubree Humes.He was a former employee of Scottys Construction and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Inez Ford Humes; one son, Roger Humes and wife Pam of Bowling Green;one step-daughter, Linda Curtis and husband, Ken Lasley of Bowling Green, one step-son, Jesse Curtis and wife, Donna of Tompkinsville; two grandchildren; two step grandchildren and one great grandchild; three sisters, Joyce (Jerry) Kerr, Helen (Joe Billy) Bowman both of Tompkinsville and Geraldine (Willie) Bowman of Summer Shade; one brother, Roy Lee Humes of Summer Shade.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Rondal and Harlie Humes and sisters, Odell Lollar, Stella Shaw, Hazel Paull and Ida Mae Self.

Elizabeth Earline Pitcock
Elizabeth Earline Pitcock, age 91 of Summer Shade, died Tuesday, Sepltember 13, 2011 at T J Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Richard Bridges and Viola Vance Houchens. She was a member of the Summer Shade Missiponary Baptist Church where she taught Sundaay School for many years. She was retired from Ky. Pants and was the best fried pie maker in Summer Shade.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jean (Mark) Millerof Eighty Eight, a daughter-in-law, Della Pitcockof Summer Shade; grandchildren, Karen Sue (Louie) Hicks, In., Jeff (Lucinda) Pitcock of Summer Shade, Bettina (Mike) Wilson of Temple Hill, Vince (Mandy) Miller of Elizabethtown; great grandchildren,Josh Pitcock, Haley Pitcock, Brittany (David) Wade, Brandon Pickett, Jessica(Chet) Ellis, Nicholas and Christian Martin, Savanna Napper and Dakota Wilson.
