Emma M. Anderson, age 96 of the Dubre community, died December 20, 2011 at the Metcalfe Co. Healthcare Center. She was a homemaker and a daughter of the late George Benton and Ida Crews Branstetter. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one son, Bobby (Mardell ) Anderson of Dubre, grandchildren, Larry Anderson, Jesse Gid Anderson, Sherry Perdue, James Thomas Anderson and Beth Anderson; several great grandchildren also survive; sister, Ruby Burge of Elizabethtown ad half sister, Dorothy Milburn of Ariz., daughter -in-law Bronda Anderson
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gid Anderson, son, James Thomas Anderson, brother, Pete Branstetter and granddaughter, Sheila Short.
Funeral serices will be Friday, Dec. 23 at 10:00 AM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Freddie Froedge officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Thursday, Dec. 22 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

CLARA LEE GARMON
Clara Lee Garmon, age 89 of Tompkinsville, died Sunday, December 11 2011 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. She was a daughter of the late Jesse Knerr and Mabel Howard Hie and was a member of the Oak Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Bobby ) Richardson of Tompkinsille and Darlene Mitchell of Glasgow; one step daughter, Ruthie (Danny ) Jessie of Edmonton; one son, Leslie (Gloria ) Kell of Franklin; seventeen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Leslie Kell and J..R Garmon; two sons, Bill and Darrell Kell: two step daughters, Virginia Coppage and Inez Gerald; step son Brownie Garmon; step granddaughter, Sharlotte Garmon and Step grandson Alvis Gerald; one sister, Mildren Neal.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Church of Christ with Bro.Lewis

Mary Lou DeWeese, age 69 of the Randolph community, died Thursday, Dec. 8 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Pauline Francis Wilson and was a member of the Dripping Springs Baptist Church. She was a retired machine operator in the Clothing Industry.

Lizzie Olene Terry, age 82 of Glasgow, died Wednesday, Dec. 7,2011 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was a daughter of the late Grant and Annie Nannie Crow and was retired from the Healthcare profession. She attended the Living Faith Church of God.
She is survived by nieces, Anna Britt of Indiana, Angela Crow of Tn. Nephews, William (Charlotte) Smith of Glasgow, Clifton (Rose) Smith of Glasgow and Arthur James Simpson of Glasgow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Ella Mae Smith and Marie Crow, brother, Bewley Crow and nephew Donald C row.

Elnora Frances Morgan Franklin, age 77 of Elizabethtown, KY died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at North Hardin Health and Rehab.
She was born in Summer Shade, KY on September 12, 1934 to the late Homer and Winnie Shirley Morgan.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Jenkins and Sascha Teems of Rineyville, KY; two sons, Michael Ray Franklin and wife Carol, of Louisville, KY and Russell Franklin and wife Penny, of New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Emily Marcus, Laurie Franklin, Matt Franklin, Aaron Franklin, Bradley and Sierra Franklin and Kaitlyn Teems; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jameson Marcus and Emma Claire Franklin; one sister, Arlene (Charles) McMurtrey of Summer Shade, KY and two sisters-in-law, Lois Jean Morgan of Berea, KY and Jolene Turner of Greensburg, KY.
