James Alexander (Jaw) Wilson, age 87 of Glasgow, formerly of Marrowbone, died Saturday, March 24 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. He was a retired farmer and a son of the late Melvin and Carrie White Wilson. He was a WWII Veteran of the Army. He is survived by two daughters, Twona Wilson and Micha Wilson of Glasgow, two grandchildren, Todd and Jordan Pedigo. Two nieces and several cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a good friend Margaret Wilson, a daughter Mary Margaret Wilson, two brothers, Harley and Charlie Wilson and one sister, Effie Wilson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 27 at 4:00 P.M. at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Marrowbone Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday march 26 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

William Lowell"Ben" Shaw
William Lowell "Ben" Shaw, age 79 of Edmonton, died Wednesday, Mar. 14 at Norton's Hospital. He was a son of the late Glen and Susan Frances Syra Shaw and was a retired logger.
He is survived by four daughters, Anita (Jimmy) Turner of Tompkinsville, Sheila (Chester ) Whitlow of Edmonton ,Pam (Tim) Stinson of Cave City and Sherry Johnson of Texas; five sons,Ray (Polly)Shaw of Beaumont, Danny (Becky ) Shaw of Red Boiling Springs; Ricky Shaw and David (Donna) Shaw both of Summer Shade and Timmy Shaw of Beaumont; two sisters, Donnie ( Wayne) Lester of Edmonton and Mardell (Bobby ) Anderson of Dubre; grandchildren, Scotty, Miranda, Chris, Jason, Tracy, Buck, Brian and Todd Shaw and Ryan Whitlow and Makayla Stinson; three step grandchildren, Amy Shoulders, Todd Thurman and Buddy Whitlow; four great grandchildren, Ryder, Drake Serenity and Braxton Shaw; three step great grandchildren, Megan Thurman, Addison and Avery Shoulders and several nieces and nephews.

Ruby Lucille Dubree Norris, age 92 of Glasgow, entered into rest Monday, March 12 at T J Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Hume Dubree and was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ. She was a former employee of the late Drs. Dickinson.
She is survived by a dauaghter, Martha J. Johnson and husband, Randy G. of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Emily Grant Byrd and Alison Claire Johnson, both of Glasgow; two great grandchildren, Noah and Savannah Byrd; two sisters, Gladys (Bobby) Riddle and Joyce (Charles) Hammer both of In.; two brothers, Bedford Lee Dubree of Ohio and Joe Edward Dubree of Leitchfield.

Ricky Joe Abner, age 44 of Glasgow, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. He was a son of the late Stanley and Betty Glass Abner and was employed as an electrician.
He is survived by a daughter, Mollie Ann Abner of Glasgow; three brothers, Mark Abner, Keith Abner and Kevin Abner and wife, Penny all of Glasgow.
