Kyle O. Gordon, age 68 of Celina, Tn., formerly of Willow Shade, Ky., died Wednesday, Oct.24, 2012 at Celina Health & Rehabilitation Center in Celina. He was a son of the late Vanis and Susie Geralds Gordon.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Straud of Indianapolis, In. and Tina Gordon of Belmont, NC; one son, David Thompson of Indianapolis, In; two sisters, Georgia Mann and Eva Anderson both of Indianapolis, In; grandchildren, Dusty Thompson, Josh Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Laura Butrum of Indianapolis, In., Lee Gordon of Belmont, NC; great grandchildren, Hannah Thompson, Makenna Thompson of Indianapolis and Aurora Gordon of Gastonia, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife and companion of thirty six years, Linda Woods Gordon, one brother, Charles Gordon and one sister,Edith Gordon.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
