Lester Venis Hagan,
age 101, of Burkesville, died November 4, 2014 at the Cumberland County
Hospital
He was born
September 14, 1913, in Tompkinsville. He was a son of the late Arthur and Susan
Brown Hagan and the husband of the late Bina Johnson Hagan.
He was a concrete
finisher and a farmer, and of the Church
of Christ
He is survived by
one daughter, Beverly Hagan, of Burkesville: one sister, Iva Copeland, Mooresville , Indiana
He was preceded in
death, besides his wife and parents, by one son, Larry Hagan, two daughters,
Inell Estep and Elsie Muse; three sisters, three brothers, and 2 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services
will be November 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial
to follow in the Mud
Camp Cemetery
