John Maxwell Forbis, age 62 of Summer Shade, died Tuesday September
15, 2015 at the T J Samson hospital in Glasgow
of natural causes.
Born in Barren County and he was a son to the late Stanley and
Virginia (Riley) Forbis. He attended Western Ky. University
and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by one brother Dr. Frank (Marilyn) Forbis of
Hopkinsville, one niece Amy Lynn(Jason) Wilson and two great nieces Jacey and
Jamie Wilson and cousins Roger, Jason and Tommy Forbis.
In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by one
brother Henry Forbis and a cousin Kenny Forbis.
Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at 10:00 A.
M. at the McMurtrey Funeral Home in Summer Shade with Bro. Mark Parks
officiating. Burial will follow in the White cemetery in Sulphur Lick.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 4 – 7
P.M. and on Friday from 7:00 A.M. until the funeral at 10: 00 A.M.
