Marjorie Dean Young, 79, of Tompkinsville, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Norton’s Hospital. Born March 29, 1941 in Tompkinsville, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Polly Mae (Bridges) Young.
Morjorie worked in factories and was a caregiver. She was a member of the Lyons Chapel Church of Christ.
Survivors include nephews, Tim (Melissa) Young, Summer Shade, Stacy (Peggy) Young, Glasgow and David Young, Summer Shade; nieces Letha (Doug) McPherson, Summer Shade and Karthina Cashin, Summer Shade; and brother in law, Clarence Geralds, Tompkinsville.
Preceding her death besides her parents, were sisters, Thelma Key and Nellie Geralds, and brother, Guy Young.
Due to restrictions from Covid-19 private services will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with Brother Jacob Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the
