Minnie Pearl Bryant, 83, of Edmonton, KY passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Metcalfe Health Care Center in Edmonton, KY. She was born in Willow Shade, KY on July 29, 1941, to the late Neff and Sally Shaw Hurt. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Joe Bryant.
Mrs. Bryant was of the Baptist faith and
enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two children Frances Ziegler (Randy) of Knob Lick, KY and Darrell Gore of Russell Springs, KY; six grandchildren Ashley Page (Jimmy), Brittney Bryant (Seth Weaver), Shania Ziegler, Contessa Gore, Jordan Gore, and Christopher Gore (Morgan Priddy); fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she
was preceded in death by a daughter Carrie Christina Burton, her
daughter-in-law Jennifer Gore, and four siblings Oshea Huff, Hilda Lynn, Della
Strode, and William Hurt.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial in the Beaumont Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Tuesday from 8:00-1:00pm at McMurtrey Funeral Home.

ReplyDeleteI remember visiting her with my parents James and Linda Smith when I was young and kept looking for her "hat with the tags" she told me she had to leave them at work but she would shout Howdy for me. I don't think Mom and Dad were too happy but she would laugh and it made me smile!
ReplyDeleteI thought alot of Minnie, she was always nice to me. We had some interesting conversations going to E-town and back.
