Kenneth Mark Miller, 74, of Summer Shade, KY,
passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his residence. He was born March
14, 1950, in Glasgow KY to the late Kenneth Ryan and Thelma Marie Smith Miller.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Temple Hill
Baptist Church and a former employee at Eighty-Eight Fertilizer and a salesman
at Shelton’s John Deere. He enjoyed tinkering with John Deere tractors and
spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Betty Pitcock Miller of Summer Shade, KY; two children Vince Miller (Melanie) of Elizabethtown, KY and Bettina O’Brien (Joe) of Glasgow, KY; three grandchildren Nicholas Martin (Kristina), Christian Martin (Hailey), and Jaxen Kole Miller; five great grandchildren Abel Martin, Mason Martin, Wesley Wooten, Gunnar Martin, and McKinley Martin; a sister-in-law Della Pitcock of Summer Shade, KY; niece and nephews Karen Sue Hicks of Greenfield, IN, Jeff Pitcock of Summer Shade, KY, and Timothy Clyde Miller of Scottsville, KY; a great nephew Kaden; a great aunt Shirley Totty of Florida and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by a son Tony Scott Miller, two siblings Timothy Smith Miller and Nell Terry,
a nephew Kenneth Adam Miller, a brother-in-law J. D. Pitcock, and his father
and mother-in-law Elzie and Earline Pitcock.
Graveside services will be 11:00am Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Tuesday from 8:00-10:00am at McMurtrey Funeral Home.
