Brenda Carol Taylor, 76. Of Glasgow passed
away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital with
her family by her side. Mrs. Taylor was born in Louisville, KY on July 15, 1948,
the daughter of the late Joe Frank and Mary Lucille Glass Nichols. She worked
at KY Pants in Glasgow until she attended school to be a License Practical Nurse at T. J. Samson Community Hospital Pediatrics for over 20 years
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Earl Taylor.
Mrs. Taylor enjoyed playing with her cats, watching old westerns and her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters; Rochelle Wood (Shad) Cynthia Corbin both of Glasgow; her son Michael Taylor (Brittany) of Glasgow; her grandchildren Jesse Frank Shirley (Kayla) of Tompkinsville, John Taylor Shirley (Lauren)of Summer Shade, Trevor Wood, Shadda Wood and Jameson Corbin both of Glasgow; one great-grandchild McKinley Shirley.
Funeral services will be held 12 Noon on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025, 4PM until 8PM and on Wednesday morning from 8am until time for the service.
